Badges + Fishing Tourney

Yes I know, I haven’t posted for over a month. And its fair to say that my posts won’t be as active as they were before. Instead I’ll just try my best to update on my town as often as possible 🙂

The first tree I cut down in my game 🙂 I was lucky enough for it to actually have a rare stump. I knew about these, and apparently its hard to get them with a normal axe, but I managed to do it.

Within a week, I completed four different projects! I loved the face-cutout standee, as I could put designs on it. Right now it has a nyan cat :3. The museum renovation project was one I really wanted, as I could buy silver tools and it took me one step closer to the cafe. The campsite was super exciting, and is an easier way for me to get new neighbours to move in, whilst knowing who they are. Finally, my favourite project, the Dream Suite. I can now have dreams of other towns. Since this was a couple of weeks ago, I’ve already saved photos of towns I’ve been to, and I’ll be posting those soon.

I received two new badges from Phineas. I find the badges are like mini achievements, except I earn them without realising :).

My first campsite villager was Rosie! She was actually one of my dreamies, so I was quite lucky to have her first. Unfortunately, every time I asked her to move in, she refused. I asked her over 10 times, yet she still refused. I had to make another character, and for some reason, she moved in on the first try!

Velma had a birthday, so I went to her party to celebrate with Bella. Its so cute how they have birthday parties, and they decorate their house :).

Shrunk requested Club LOL to be built, but only after I had 6 signatures. Glad I didn’t have to pay a lot of money for it though!

I won the Fishing Tourney! It was really close at the end, I had 10 minutes left and Static was in the lead! Luckily I caught a fish with 3 minutes to go, but it was quite hard.

To end, there was a meteor shower! There were actually heaps more shooting stars than I thought there would be. In the mail the next day, I received a six lamp~

Thank you everyone for reading this. I’m planning a “Dream Book” post, where I will show a couple of Dream Addresses I have enjoyed. But until then, I’ll try and post more often 🙂

Week 1 – Tropical Island + PWPs

My first complete week in Eclipse was total mayhem! I did so much, and you’ll see that by the amount of photos I have (;

I started up my game and Isabelle told me someone wanted to meet me at the docks! It turned out to be Tortimer, who almost forgot to tell me about the tropical island -_-. Unfortunately I had to wait another day for it to be available for me.

Bella the mouse moved in!~ She was one of my first villagers in AC:WW all those years ago. Although she isn’t one of my dreamies, she’s still a lovely villager to have.

I met Saharah, who gave me both new wallpaper and flooring for 3,000 bells. I later found out that they were both exclusive to Saharah herself!

Kapp’n decided to start singing when I boarded his boat to the island. I loved how he referenced his car, from the AC:WW game.

Apparently the currency here is medals?? All I know so far, is that you can buy a new series of furniture called Mermaid, some new clothing, and a “Club Tortimer Membership”, which allows you to play with other people around the world! I think this is pretty cool, and I tried it out later (although I forgot to take screenshots).

I finished my first PWP, which was a suspension bridge. I thought it was quite vital as you start the game with only one bridge. I found out later that you can have up to 3 bridges in your town at once :).

Only Moose turned up to the ceremony 0_0. I don’t blame him, it wasn’t the nicest of days to be outside, as the sky was quite grey. Oh well, at least there was someone there!

I soon completed 2 more PWPs, the yellow bench and the fountain. Luckily there were more villagers at each of the ceremonies this time!

Thought I would end this post with a gorgeous photo of my character at Katrina’s fortune telling session. I love how her shop turned into this, with stars in the background and a blue zodiac wheel (not quite sure if thats what it is though!)

Thanks once again for reading~ I love reading all your comments on what you think about my posts 🙂

Day 2 – Updates + New House

Quick Update
First of all, I would like to apologise for the gap between my posts. I haven’t had wifi for the past 3 weeks so I was unable to post anything. But alas, I’m back and I have a lot of photos to update!
If you have a look at my “ACNL” page, you’ll see that I have started to update it. I’m also going to work on the QR codes page and other pages which you’ll see very soon :).
This post is about my second day in my town (although it is quite short). From now on, I’ll be posting in sections of weeks (i.e. week 1, week 2..). I’ll also start posting some Dream Suite adventures to share some amazing towns. I also will be posting about once every two weeks or so, but I’ll be updating in the next few days to get to where I am now.

I started off the day by using my last popper the celebrate my new house (and not having to sleep in a tent). I love the spot I picked near the waterfall, except theres an immovable rock a few spaces down -_-. I can always try to hide it, but its quite annoying.

I had no idea that the celebrations would continue to the next day! Isabelle surprised me by giving me a ‘zodiac goat’ as a present. Its pretty much just a goat on a cushion which bobs its head up and down (I still found it cute though).

Posing in front of the cutouts was fun, but I didn’t realise until later that you could press the ‘A’ button to get a zoomed in view (and have your character pull faces). I wish I knew earlier! Oh well, at least I know now :).

I built another snowman (cue Frozen) to play bingo. I haven’t won yet, but I’m super close :D. I wonder what gift I get for winning…

I bought my first fortune cookie (for 2 play coins) and I won a Bill Blaster! I placed it in my home and you can press ‘A’ to make it shoot out a bullet bill! I love the references to the Mario games.

Being invited to a villagers house was something I hadn’t done in ACNL yet, but much to my surprise I could actually buy a piece of their furniture! Moose had some Gracie furniture which I wanted, but he wouldn’t sell it to me D: . There was also a typewriter on a table, but apparently you can’t take items on top of furniture? Luckily he put the typewriter in Re-Tail later that week so I bought it.

Peaches required a catchphrase change, so I ended up with ‘fruity’. I couldn’t think of anything else, but it matched her name so I thought “why not?”.

I also paid off my home loan for the second time, which means a slightly bigger house! It actually wasn’t too hard to pay it off as it was only a small amount of bells.

Once again, thanks for reading. I love seeing all your comments on what you think of my town or anything in particular :D.

Day 1 – Moving In + New Years Countdown

Finally, the long-anticipated day has come 😀 (spoiler alert to those who haven’t played before)

I found this so adorable, how all the animals came to watch me plant the tree. The music was really nice as well, and it added to the scene to make it feel a bit sweeter.

This is the map I ended up having, and I’m in love with it. I only had to reset once for it! Even though I ended up with apples instead of pears, as I said earlier, I can always swap fruit with people.

I soon completed the down payment of my (quite small) tent, which means I’ll have an actual house tomorrow! I had to pay 10,000 bells, which sounds like a lot, but it wasn’t that bad 🙂

I actually love this time of day in the AC games. Twilight is always so pretty, and I tend to find myself taking a lot of photos of it and just watching it turn into night.

Moose thought that it was a great idea to call me Muscles. I had to disagree with him, as I am probably one of the weakest people you will ever find.

HNI_0087 HNI_0093
Only 35 minutes to go til 2015! And I had chosen my outfit for the night. I designed this sleeveless dress to match the colours of the fireworks, and somehow this hat matched it quite well!

As I talked to all the animals, I made them realise that they needed to put on their hats! This was actually so cute as I didn’t think they would do this.

Less than a minute to go! You could really feel the excitement in the Plaza. All the animals were gathered there, waiting patiently for the first of the fireworks to go off.

Happy New Year!

As the night went on, I took so many photos of the fireworks! But these four were the best ones. It took so many tries to get a good photo of my popper going of at the same time as the fireworks, but in the end I managed to do that too.

Thanks for reading todays entry. Feel free to comment your opinions/views on anything here, or even tell me what your first day was like!
Also, feel free to talk to me about becoming friends with me, so we can go to each others towns!
Sorry for this being so long, but congrats if you read it all!

Town Hopes + Dreams

As most fans of the Animal Crossing series know, Animal Crossing: New Leaf (AC:NL) came out midway last year. At that time, I didn’t have a 3DS, which disappointed me. I am a huge fan of the AC series, as I have played all the games from AC, AC:WW and AC:CF. Alas, 18 months later I found myself holding a New 3DS and a copy of AC:NL.
I could tell that this game would be the start of new beginnings and I was excited to play it. I also had an idea to start a blog about it (and here I am). I must admit, I couldn’t wait for a couple of days to set up my blog and start playing the game, so I ended up playing for 3 days. In the end, I restarted so that I could begin fresh here. I also had some ideas of what type of town I wanted.
